This meetup consists of different groups of people reading certain material to different degrees of depth and intensity. Books we've read in the past include Descartes' 'Meditations', Hume's 'Enquiry Concerning Human Understanding', Kant's '1st Critique', Kant's 'Prolegomena', Heidegger's 'Being and Time', Husserl's 'Logical Investigations', Hegel's 'Phenomenology of Spirit', Marx's 'Capital', and many others. Calling all ladies (queer women, gay ladies, lesbians, or/and whatever way you label or identify) of Brooklyn who like to read and discuss books about queer issues/people/characters and/or by queer authors . All genres considered: fiction, non-fiction, memoir, biography, psychology, sociology. Once a month we will get together for food, drink and discussion. No need to be queer or lesbian to take part, but know that you'll be subject to some sensual lady on lady literature, regardless. Feel free to invite friends! The more the merrier!
